Penn State students are invited to the Student Farm on Thursday, September 2 for a Campus Food Systems Kick-Off! The event will last from 5-7 pm and will give new and returning students a chance to see what kind of food system engagement opportunities await them on campus. There will be a meet and greet with several student orgs that focus on different aspects of food systems, tours of the Student Farm, and farm-fresh food. If you’re interested in food system topics like food waste, nutrition, sustainable agriculture, food justice or food insecurity, be sure to stop by the Campus Food Systems Kick-Off! Also, stay until the end to join Student Farm Club for their first general club meeting starting at 6:30 pm.
