We are happy to announce that our first Cooking Collab of the semester is coming up soon, and it sounds delicious! Join us from 5:30-7:30 on February 22 to learn how to make an Ethiopian spread alongside farm friends.
The menu of the night includes:
- Meser wat–a spicy green lentil stew with Ethiopian berbere spices
- Ater alecha– yellow split peas with turmeric
- Tikil gomen– carrots and cabbage with potatoes
- Injera– a traditional gluten-free flatbread that you use to eat the other dishes
The Collab with be led by Etayehu Zenebe. Etayehu is the founder of an Ethiopian catering company and learned to cook from her grandmother, who worked in the Ethiopian palace from 1930-1974. Learn more about her business and passion for food here.
The event will be hosted at Abba Java Coffeehouse. To register, fill out the form below by Monday, February 21 at 8 p.m. The event cost is $10.
