Join us on Saturday, July 9 between 10am-12pm for a morning of fun art projects on the Dr. Keiko Miwa Ross Student Farm at Penn State. The four-acre vegetable farm is full to the brim with beautiful plants, veggies, flowers and herbs at this time of year!
Visitors of all ages will have fun expressing their crafty side with farm-themed art activities, including stamp art using vegetables, and watercolor dying with vegetable-based dyes. Guests will also have the opportunity to go on farm explorer tours, and learn about how plants and vegetables can be grown sustainably, and the importance, flavor and fun of fresh-grown produce.
Please wear sturdy shoes for walking grassy and uneven surfaces on the farm, and bring a water bottle and sun protection for your visit.
